Understanding GDPR The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a set of rules designed to protect personal data and privacy for individuals within the European Union (EU). Effective 25 May 2018, we have updated our privacy policy with annual reviews and updates to comply with these regulations.

- Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct any incomplete or inaccurate information we have about you.

- Right to data portability: You can securely request the transfer of your data to another IT environment.
- Right not to be subject to automated decision-making: This includes decisions made solely by automated means, including profiling.
How We Use Data: We store records for past, current, and future OOTG customers for customer care and follow-up support. The types of data we store include:
- Address
- Contact details (telephone numbers, mobile numbers, email addresses)
- Social media URL/WhatsApp/FB/Linked In/Instagram/NextDoor/X details dependant on preferred contact
- Property location information (e.g. Google Maps/Google Earth/Street Map/Rightmove)
- OOTG photographs and survey measurements
This data is protected by firewalls and stored on OOTG password-secured administrative systems, accessible only by authorised staff.
Use of Photography and Social Media All OOTG copyrighted photography from 2008-2024 used on our website, Instagram, or Facebook remains secure. Your personal identification and data are protected under this policy, and all copyright rights are reserved.
Communication and Marketing: We use Mailchimp to send informative emails to subscribed customers. These emails may include marketing promotions offering cost-effective solutions. You can always opt out of these communications, and your data will remain secure.
Our Continued Commitment In addition to updating our privacy policy, we have appointed a Data Protection Officer to ensure our privacy practices remain robust. We have also consulted with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) to ensure our compliance with GDPR. We do not sell data or share it with unnecessary third parties.
